Responsibilities
The Physician provides direct patient care.
The Physician evaluates and manages each patient thoroughly and documents information completely by written notes or dictation on a timely basis.
Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing.
Completes and maintains problem lists, medication lists, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms.
Participates in quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee.
Provides direction to staff for an efficient and smooth-running team.
Ensures fiscal viability of the practice.
Complies with applicable policies and procedures.
This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Potential for bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence. Must follow universal safety precautions. Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
