Schedule supporting work-life balance: 7on/7off shifts, allowing ample time for personal pursuits. Collaborate with a dynamic team of 40 hospitalist physicians and APPs. Opportunities to work with and mentor residents, contributing to the growth of new Hospitalists. Job Requirements
Willingness to work Nocturnist shifts. Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program. ABIM Certification. Active Texas Medical License and DEA registration. Minimum of two (2) years of Hospitalist experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Job Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members including physicians, APPs, and nurses. Conduct thorough assessments and histories of hospitalized patients. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decisions. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments. Maintain accurate medical records following hospital standards. Instruct patients on therapeutic regimens and home care. Stay current with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols.
