WUWF Public Media - Director, Membership & Engagement, 106280 . Job Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for managing WUWF’s membership program, fundraising campaigns, outreach opportunities and special events. Key responsibilities include maintaining the membership database and donation platforms, ensuring successful processing of credit cards and EFTs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Manage the monthly membership renewal process and all aspects of the sustaining membership program, including data analysis and reporting to ensure the program operates correctly; maintain communication with members (emails and phone calls). Coordinate annual membership fundraising plan/campaign including sustaining giving, direct mail, gift acknowledgements, membership drives, and year-end tax receipts. Create a quarterly e-newsletter for distribution to members. Manage ticket sales and check-in for the monthly RadioLive concert series and the annual holiday concert. Work with the Executive Director in setting strategies and policies related to fundraising, marketing, outreach and special events. Collaborate with adjacent departments and functions (advancement services/database operations, etc.) to maintain quality and integrity of member/audience relationships and data. Maintain knowledge about the external environment as it relates to fundraising in the broadcasting industry and in general. Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience, or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience. Position Qualifications:
Strong project management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives, adapt to evolving priorities, and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word (mail merge). Comfort working with CRMs and fundraising databases; experience with Raiser’s Edge a plus. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in fundraising and donor relations. Exceptional customer service, organizational and time management skills. A self-starter with the ability to perform daily tasks and responsibilities with little to no supervision. Experience working in a fast-paced office environment with a highly integrated team. Salary:
