Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Medical Center at our newly renovated outpatient office in Florham Park, New Jersey. By joining the robust department, comprised of 14 psychiatrists, 5 APNs, and 1 PA, the candidate will have the support of a number of additional Psychiatrists, including 6 Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists.
Responsibilities The candidate will oversee and provide patient care for children and adolescents with psychiatric needs referred from the Child and Adolescent clinical team, the Behavioral Health Assessment Center, Psychiatric Emergency Services, the Child and Adolescent Consultation Liaison Service, and from Atlantic Health System and community pediatric providers. The candidate's responsibilities as an Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist will encompass comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will serve as a role model for clinical excellence and participate in weekly treatment team meetings for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Additionally, the candidate will provide clinical mentorship to Advanced Practice Nurses within the Department of Psychiatry and collaborate with key quality and safety leaders to ensure high-quality psychiatric care. Finally, the candidate will assume all responsibilities as a member of the Department of Psychiatry, including cross-coverage at the main campus as needed and participation in on-call and per-diem coverage, as assigned by the Department Chair.

Salary Range Salary Range:
$300,000-$350,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives
Qualifications
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with developments in the field of psychiatry
Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor trainees (e.g., Advanced Practice Providers, residents, and medical students).
Familiarity with federal and state standards for psychiatric care
Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team
