Overview

Inpatient and C/L Psychiatrist opening at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center / GW Health in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, employed physician position with a Monday-Friday work schedule. The psychiatrist will provide care in adult inpatient services and consultative liaison coverage. Key Responsibilities

Admissions and discharges of patients in the inpatient setting. Daily patient care management for an assigned caseload. Consultations across various hospital departments. Collaboration with Emergency Department Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs), GWU Residents, and Medical Students. Ideal Candidate

Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) in Psychiatry. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Therapists, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Care Coordinators, and Mental Health Workers. Required Qualifications

MD/DO degree from an accredited program. Board-eligible or certified in Psychiatry. Licensure to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain licensure. At least 4-5 years of training or relevant experience in Psychiatry. Meets all credentialing criteria for physicians. Compensation and Benefits
