PeaceHealth Medical Group has a newly posted position for a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon to join the team at Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington--a suburb of Portland, Oregon. This is a hospital-based practice with fully equipped operating rooms, AIC certified outpatient and in-patient vascular labs and full access to endovascular suites. Overview

100% Vascular Surgery with three supportive colleagues and opportunity for growth. Call is 1:4. Vascular Surgery is embedded in a larger department of general surgery, GI and trauma with a full clinic staff of RNs, MAs and 2 schedulers. ICU and Hospitalist teams and a full complement of specialists are available. Medical students rotate through. Good support team in the clinic with a team who has longevity. Excellent OR and Cath Lab staff. Block OR time with ease to have add-ons. EPIC EMR. Why Vancouver

Practice of medicine within the scope of license, training and credentialing. Practice of medicine in accordance with current standards of care and clinic quality criteria. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patients served. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Required: Licensed to practice as a physician in the State, and board certified or board eligible Required: Drug Enforcement Admin Federal Number Required: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Required: within 30 Days Basic Life Support or Required: within 30 Days Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Required: within 30 Days Pediatric Advanced Life Support Skills
Demonstrated expertise in clinical management of patients. (Required) Maintains current knowledge and skills with continuing education. (Required) Must meet all training requirements for specific department. (Required) Able to work varied hours; rigorous on-call and call-back schedule. (Required) Must not be a practitioner excluded from participation in the Medicare or Medicaid program. (Required) Working Conditions
