General Cardiologist Physician

OSF HealthCare . OSF HealthCare’s Cardiovascular Institute is growing and adding a General Cardiologist to a practice in Galesburg, IL, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center. The team includes 3 general cardiologists and 2 APPs with support from the larger CVI group. Responsibilities
Grow the practice into a regional hub and care for the sickest patients in the community. Collaborate with an EP, Interventional, and Heart Failure outreach team in the Galesburg location. Provide outreach weekly to nearby hospitals and clinics in more rural communities. Serve as part of the OSF Cardiovascular Service Line, coordinating with 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics to provide comprehensive prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. Deliver specialized care through CV surgery, MCS, Transplant, Aortic Center, Structural Heart, Advanced HF, Cardio One, Cardio OB, and related services (more than 300 STEMI’s per year). Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Doctorate Licenses/Certifications: Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state; board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges. Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served. Compensation
Full-time, clinical base salary range: $530,000–$582,082. Range shown is an estimate and may be impacted by factors including position critical need, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable, such as bonuses or incentives, which may or may not be based on metric achievement. Benefits
