Endocrinologist – Outpatient Practice in the Beautiful Hudson Valley

The Opportunity:
A progressive, mission-driven community hospital in
Upstate New York’s scenic Hudson Valley
is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Endocrinologist
to join its outpatient specialty clinic. This is a unique opportunity to provide
comprehensive endocrine care
to a diverse and medically underserved population in a region known for its vibrant culture, natural beauty, and exceptional quality of life.
With a robust referral base, cutting-edge technology, and a collaborative medical staff, this role offers the autonomy of private practice with the
support of an integrated health system
that prioritizes patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and osteoporosis
Perform comprehensive consultations and follow-ups in a 100% outpatient setting
Manage insulin pumps, CGMs, and other endocrine-related technologies
Collaborate with PCPs and specialists to coordinate care
Order, interpret, and follow up on labs and imaging
Educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle changes
Participate in quality initiatives and community outreach programs
Minimal (if any) call — primarily outpatient-focused
Utilize
EPIC EMR
for all documentation and care coordination
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
Eligible for NY medical license and hospital credentialing
Passion for working in rural or underserved communities
Interest in telehealth a plus
