This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment with a focus on teaching family medicine residents, quality improvement, and scholarly activities. Faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor with Meharry Medical College Inpatient care responsibilities on the family medicine teaching service Opportunity to implement quality improvements Flexible 7 on/7 off schedule Employed model with health benefits Qualifications
MD or DO degree Board-certified in family medicine (no IM or other certifications considered) Recent hospitalist experience required (new graduates not considered) Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine Our purpose at TeamHealth is to enhance clinicians' ability to practice medicine daily.
