The Periodontist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating periodontal disease, performing surgery, placing dental implants, and providing perio dental care. The role includes coordinating patient care, developing treatment plans, and ensuring high standards of professional practice are maintained. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat periodontal disease Perform periodontal surgery as required Place dental implants and manage implant procedures Coordinate patient care and develop comprehensive treatment plans Maintain high standards of professional practice and patient care Qualifications Proficiency in periodontal care Expertise in dental implants Strong knowledge of medicine as it relates to periodontal care Outstanding patient communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a dental team Valid license to practice dentistry in the state of Michigan Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Health Care Provider Industries Consumer Services Location: Detroit, MI
