TeamHealth has the perfect opportunity for you. This is a part-time (2-4 days/week) primary care medical director role providing patient care in a post-acute care setting in a skilled nursing facilities (SNF) located in Alamo and Brownsville, Tennessee. One-two days a week you will provide oversite of NPs and two days a month you will provide clinical services. No call. This is a W2 part-time position. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30a to 4:30a and Friday from 7:30a to 11:30a.
Job Duties Primary care rounding in 2 skilled nursing facilities Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care Collaborate with clinicians, facility leaders and others regarding care and services Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to our nurse practitioners Conduct clinical case reviews as needed and share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of care Represent TeamHealth on appropriate external levels engaging and establishing/maintaining relationships within the post-acute care community Collaborate with leadership to review care coordination initiatives, develop collaborative intervention plans, and share ideas about network management issues
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 year primary care experience Post-acute care experience a plus, but must see all ages Active and unrestricted Tennessee license or application in process Active and unrestricted DEA or application in process Expected compensation is estimated hourly range of $110 to $110 with no cap on productivity income potential plus $4,500 monthly director stipend inclusive of both clinics.
