University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This role practices a collaborative supervision model with a high degree of autonomy across diverse settings, including a Level 1 trauma center, ambulatory surgery center, and pediatric trauma center. Duties include but are not limited to: Perform clinical anesthesia services. Attend continuing education conferences and seminars to maintain Recertification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Model and promote systems change across campus to foster professional conduct and the highest integrity, respecting all members of the University community; demonstrate a commitment to an inclusive environment where every employee feels valued and can perform at their best. Communicate expectations and provide support and resources aligned with the University's vision and strategic planning to foster creativity and innovation. Create a culture of continuous learning through strategic planning, shared governance, innovative best practices, and knowledge development. Required Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program. National certification as a CRNA by the NBCRNA. Current Iowa Board of Nursing RN and ARNP licenses. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Contributes to a welcoming and respectful workplace environment. New graduates and soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to apply! Desirable Qualifications Prior experience in anesthesia service delivery as part of an anesthesia care team.
