Senior Software Engineer, Chrome, Windows Platform at Google. This role focuses on the overall quality of Chrome on Windows, improving performance and platform integration, fixing Windows-specific issues, adapting to the Windows landscape, and driving Windows-specific feature development. Integrate Platform, including tying in with new and existing OS features, interfacing with OS-specific services, and aligning with general platform expectations. Improve Chrome’s speed and responsiveness and reduce power consumption. Debug low-level OS-specific and Chrome bugs. Drive growth through changes that improve the user experience. Participate in an open-source community, where bug reports and code contributions may come from outside Google. Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. Experience with C++. Preferred qualifications
Experience developing a client application for various operating systems and with codebases that aim at multiple platforms. Experience with open-source projects. Experience with platform integration. About the job

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000–$244,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.
