Walden Behavioral Care is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at our Dedham, MA, location. This physician will play a crucial role in the medical management of patients with eating disorders and co-occurring medical conditions. Responsibilities Include

Provide comprehensive medical evaluations, treatment, and ongoing management for patients receiving eating disorder treatment at Walden Behavioral Care. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, dietitians, and nursing staff to ensure holistic, integrated patient care. Monitor and manage medical complications related to eating disorders, including but not limited to electrolyte imbalances, malnutrition, and refeeding syndrome. Conduct routine medical assessments and follow-ups, including laboratory review and medication management. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized treatment planning. Educate patients and families on medical aspects of eating disorders, treatment options, and recovery strategies. Support transitions of care, including discharge planning and coordination with outpatient providers. Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board certification (or eligibility) in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Medicine and Pediatrics (both). Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Massachusetts (or ability to obtain). Experience in behavioral health, eating disorder treatment, or hospital-based medicine is preferred but not required. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to manage medically complex patients. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented approach to care. #Walden #LI-ONSITE
