Premise Health is seeking a part-time
Physician Assistant (PA)
to provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in
Sunnyvale, CA . The work schedule is 24 hours per week, including Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

What You'll Do
Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and manages infection.
Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, provides home-going instructions, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, and health maintenance.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
Records physical findings, formulates plan and prognosis, and provides written home-going instructions.
Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans as necessary.
Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related procedures.
Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
Maintains medical records using Electronic Medical Record software where applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
All state licenses/certifications to practice.
Current national certification (NCCPA required).
Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
Federal DEA license (as applicable to state of practice).
CPR (BLS for Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) Certification with hands-on evaluation; online-only courses not accepted. Must meet American Heart Association standards.
At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting preferred.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
Current certification in BLS; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on contract scope.
Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under Medical Leader authority, if allowed in state of practice.
Strong computer skills with knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

Compensation : Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $107,239 - $134,049 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered, including experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
