This role involves delivering therapeutic services that enhance students' functional abilities and support their educational progress throughout the contract school year.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs Implement therapy sessions to improve students motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate OT goals within the academic environment Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist with appropriate credentials for school-based therapy Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively liaise with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse student populations Knowledge of current school therapy practices and legal requirements
