Overview
Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for dedicated anesthesia technician to join the team. this role will be Full-Time 40 Hours per week 2:30PM to 11:00PM with rotating weekends.

Job Responsibilities
Assists and anticipates needs of Anesthesiologist in invasive monitor insertion and procedures such as pulmonary artery catheter, central venous access, fiberoptic intubation and difficult airway situations per hospital policy.
Demonstrates detailed technical knowledge and troubleshooting ability for anesthesia delivery systems, gas analyzer, EKG and pulse oximeter per manufacture guidelines.
Prepares and assembles all necessary supplies and equipment for auto-transfusion and rapid infusion under the direction of the anesthesia provider. Maintains quality control records, cart inventories and audits per OSHA and TJC standards and hospital policies.
Performs manufacturer recommended daily anesthesia machine checks according to Standard Work Document.
Minimum Qualifications
Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start
Experience - 6 months in a Clinical Environment
Education - High School or GED
