The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist performs anesthesia management for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, airway management or cardiopulmonary resuscitation in collaboration with physicians and other licensed professionals. Administers epidural medication for pain management as ordered by the physician. Performs only those services allowed by South Dakota law. There will be a CRNA on-site from 7:00 am–3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and on-call 24 hours a day. Demonstrates the mission of HRMC by displaying REACH, our core value system. Core Values

Graduate of an accredited CRNA program approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Licensed and currently registered as a CRNA in the State of South Dakota; current ACLS, NRP and PALS certificates. Physical ability to assist patients; knowledge of body mechanics in patient care. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare personnel; demonstrates leadership and uses independent judgment. Physical Demands
Frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, seeing, hearing; moderate lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly. Risks of exposure to infectious diseases and injuries related to duties. Inside environmental conditions and potential exposure to fumes, dust, gases, or poor ventilation. How to Apply
