Overview
Job Summary: The Neuropsychologist-SBH is responsible for conducting neuropsychology assessments. Supervises clinical psychology doctoral students in assessment process. Teaches, mentors, researches, and/or engages in the service activities. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience
Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and completion of an APA accredited predoctoral internship and two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology required. Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of current neuropsychological assessments of ADHD, SLD, MCI and/or other conditions. Able to diagnose ASD assessments effectively and communicate changes and instructions in a professional, effective and positive manner. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Able to communicate effectively on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position. Licensures and Certifications
