Opportunity Adolescent Psychiatrist

position to provide services at Hugh and Jean Leatherman Behavioral Health Hospital in Florence, SC. The Medical University of South Carolina’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is actively recruiting for this role.

We are seeking candidates with

Motivation and desire to work with an excellent multidisciplinary psychiatric care team

Training from an accredited Psychiatry Program

Board Certification / Board Eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Responsibilities

Inpatient rounding

Outpatient services

CSU (Crisis Stabilization Unit)

Our Opportunity Details

Schedule: 7a – 5p, Monday–Friday

Combination of Inpatient; Outpatient; CSU all within one building

The candidate will be working with other psychiatrists and Advance Practice Providers in this hospital. The candidate chosen for this role will be connected to MUSC’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Sciences in Charleston via an affiliate faculty appointment, and will receive access to the division’s resources, as well as clinical support from the Charleston team.
