Are you a Licensed Audiologist looking to take on an assessment role? This position involves performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The role is in-person and focuses on evaluating veterans with existing medical records uploaded to a computer portal.
Responsibilities
Review veteran medical records in the computer portal during appointments.
Conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal to form medical evidence for VA benefit decisions.
Assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
Note: This position does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices.
Schedule and Work Format Part-time, in-person position. Each patient appointment lasts 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales.
Qualifications
Au.D and graduation from an ASHA-accredited program.
Current license as an Audiologist.

Pay Range: $53-$60 per hour
