An outpatient behavioral health facility is seeking a highly motivated Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team as a Clinical Director for our outpatient substance abuse programs. Job Description:
Monitor program policy, procedure, and legal compliance of the 822 and 816 programs. Establish and maintain rapport and communication with referral sources; network with community programs/resources. Interview and hire clinical staff in consultation with the Chief Operating Officer. Oversight of clinical operations for both programs:
Manage hiring policies and procedures, including informing new hires of responsibilities, policies, leave, benefits, confidentiality, and payroll. Supervise clinical supervisors and staff seeking credentialing hours, front-desk staff, compliance coordinators, intake assistants, and other support personnel. Develop and monitor improvement plans and assist with program expansion. Organize and share supervision responsibilities for full-time clinical staff and assist in organizing supervision for part-time therapists. Assist with daily operations such as intake reviews, transfers, discharge planning, and clinical documentation. Support ongoing education and information sharing with clinical staff. Establish and maintain relationships with educational institutions. Provide weekly SIFI clinical supervision and task supervision to interns. Lead clinical meetings. Provide crisis counseling to clients. Offer case consultation to staff. Ensure knowledge of APG billing and OMIG regulations. Compliance Monitoring:
Address OASAS regulatory issues and ensure compliance. Assist 822 and 816 coordinators in audit preparations. Identify, monitor, and maintain data collection for program evaluation. Prepare or oversee the preparation of clinical operations data reports.
