We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in Maryland starting Nov 1, 2025. This opportunity is for a 102-day contract with primarily night and occasional 24-hour in-house shifts. The role involves hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology coverage, with a flexible schedule of 10-15 shifts per month. Responsibilities and Duties
Provide in-house obstetrics and gynecology coverage for hospital patients Manage labor and delivery, including assessment and intervention Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures as needed Respond to emergent OB/GYN cases during assigned shifts Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient care and procedures in Cerner EMR Additional Information
Location: Maryland Start Date: Nov 1, 2025 LOA: 102 days Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist Schedule: 12-hour in-house shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 7a-7a); primarily nights, but 24-hour shifts accommodated; 10-15 shifts/month; some day shifts available (no day-only submissions) EMR: Cerner Active Maryland medical license required Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Background in hospital-based OB/GYN preferred Credentialing can be completed in 30-45 days Benefits
