Cultivate is a Community Development Corporation that exists to be a collaborative community resource by joyfully partnering with residents and community stakeholders to know neighbors; foster local leadership; and ensure a vibrant neighborhood for all. Position Summary

The Executive Director will be primarily responsible for implementing the vision, mission and strategy that is set by the Board of Directors. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading any staff, organizing volunteers, developing and implementing programming, and ensuring financial sustainability for Cultivate CDC. Primary Responsibilities

Serve as the primary public representative of the organization Execute the organization’s strategy and stated initiatives, as set by board Build and invest relationally into the residents of Milo Grogan, understanding needs, desires, and strengths of the community Oversee the planning and execution of organization’s programming, including management of the Milo Green Space and leadership of community building events Provide consistent and excellent communication to board of directors, including monthly and annual reporting, financial tracking, and timely updates Maintain working relationship with core organizational partners, being able to refer residents to appropriate resources Desired Skills

Event planning and volunteer organization Ability to recruit and manage a committed volunteer base Commitment to identifying and developing new leadership within the community Competency in grant writing and the ability to assist with funding proposals Proficiency in QuickBooks with the ability to accurately manage financial data and reporting Desired Experience

A bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, political science, non-profit management, or related field. 1+ years experience working with developing neighborhoods. Demonstrated ability to manage operations and work with a Board of Directors Proven track record in nonprofit fundraising and grant administration. Additional Information
