The Surgical Technologist (ST) facilitates the surgical procedure through the assembly of instrumentation, equipment and supplies. The Surgical Technologist works as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.

Responsibilities
Facilitate surgical procedures by assembling instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for the operation.
Work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, coordinating with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical staff to ensure patient care.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
6 months of experience in a hospital operating room.
