Overview
The Lead Product Manager plays a key role in driving innovation and improving operational efficiency for Puttshack’s venues. This role gathers and synthesizes feedback from guests, associates, and stakeholders to shape the strategic roadmap for digital products, including Puttshack.com, tablet kiosks, Ground Control, and other applications. This position collaborates across multiple teams—engineering, operations, marketing, legal, and finance—spanning both the US and UK. Location and Employment Type
Location: This position is a hybrid role, with 3 days onsite at our Home Office in Chicago (River North), IL. Employment type: Full-time Position Responsibilities
Define and execute strategic roadmaps for Puttshack’s digital products, with a focus on enhancing guest and associate experiences. Gather direct feedback from guests and associates through in-person venue visits and surveys. Leverage data and qualitative insights to establish and monitor success metrics, ensuring measurable outcomes for all initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, operations, analytics) to align on feature definitions, requirements, and prioritization based on business impact and technical feasibility. Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape to inform product strategy and keep Puttshack at the forefront of the industry. Lead communication efforts for technology rollouts, including developing and implementing training and communications plans as needed. Other projects or duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in digital products, particularly with custom web and mobile applications. 5+ years of hands-on experience in feature and requirements development within an agile environment utilizing JIRA or a similar application. Travel – 5%, mostly domestic but with some international travel. Must pass a post-offer background check. Preferred Skills and Experience
Background in digital product management for digital entertainment, hospitality, or a similar consumer-oriented industry. Proficiency in JIRA for managing epics, user stories, sprints, and backlogs. Physical Requirements
Primarily office-based with minimal travel (5% domestic, some international). Physical activities on a continuous basis; sit at a desk for long periods; frequent use of telephone/video conferencing; ability to type; some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs.
