is seeking a candidate for a full-time faculty position to join its existing Department. The NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is a 591–bed Hospital with 5,100 deliveries a year, a level 3 NICU, as well as a pediatric inpatient and pediatric ICU. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for academic and professional growth. The Department has a strong culture of collegiality, strives to provide the highest quality of care to children, and is actively engaged in medical education and research. Requirements: Board-certified in Pediatrics and Board Eligible/Certified in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Eligible for licensure in the State of New York. Physicians completing their fellowship or early in their post-training career are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated candidate with strong clinical acumen, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to academic excellence. Clinical responsibilities will include hospital consultations and providing care at the outpatient ID office. Engagement in medical education of students and pediatric residents is highly desirable. Interest in Quality Improvement initiatives to prevent hospital-acquired infections is preferred. Opportunities:
The ID Division has an established Family Travel program, offers HIV care and adoption services, and is integral to inpatient & outpatient antimicrobial stewardship and IPC programs. It has several ongoing pediatric clinical trials in collaboration with the Vaccine Center at NYU Langone Health. Additionally, the ID Division is closely affiliated with Hassenfeld Children's Hospital and engages in clinical and research collaboration. Salary range: $195,000 - $225,000 . The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for training, experience, hospital/community needs, and other factors. Benefits:
