San Francisco, California Roles And Responsibilities Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery. Monitoring: Continuously assess maternal and fetal status using advanced monitoring equipment and respond appropriately to changes. Collaboration: Work closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care. Patient Support: Educate and support patients and families, providing guidance throughout the birthing process. Emergency Response: Act swiftly in obstetric emergencies, ensuring appropriate interventions and neonatal resuscitation when necessary. Job Requirements Experience:
1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licenses & Certifications:
Registered Nurse License (valid in California). Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field. 5+ years of recent experience (within the last 2 years) in Labor & Delivery. 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years.
