Responsibilities The Clinical Nurse Navigator will serve as a clinical resource with expertise in gynecological cancer and other tumor sites diagnosis, treatment, and care. He/she serves as the single point of contact for referring physicians, patients, and caregivers for Gyn Onc cancers. He/she functions on and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams as a coordinator of care, advocate, interpreter, educator, and counselor for patients with Gyn Onc cancers. He/she will serve as the liaison throughout the facility and in the community regarding services provided for this unique patient population. He/she will facilitate patient appointments, including those made with labs, diagnostic areas, and specialty physicians.
