Successful Candidates
Current license to practice in CO as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant — required
3 years' direct patient care experience and 1 year management experience preferred
Rate: $90,000-$120,000/year
*Rate depending on experience and whether the therapist is a PT, OT, SLP or PTA, COTA

Job Description The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for the day-to-day activities in the rehabilitation department of an assigned facility or facilities. This includes the delivery of direct and indirect services to in-patients and out-patients, supervision of all therapy personnel, interviewing and recommending new hires, and training of all therapy personnel. The DOR is responsible for the implementation of new programs to meet the needs of the facility and the residents. Is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out all assigned duties to provide both clinical and operational oversight to the delivery of rehabilitative services.
Essential Duties
Directly supervises and guides all therapy personnel in an assigned facility, including licensed, registered, certified therapists, assistants, aides and students.
Manage daily scheduling for the department to meet facility needs.
Provide direct care and determine appropriate caseload in collaboration with management.
Ensure rehabilitation needs of residents are met and regularly update services to meet changing needs.
Adhere to regulatory standards related to rehabilitation services.
Ensure clinical documentation is complete, timely, and accurately reflects services provided.
Conduct periodic department documentation reviews.
Coordinate denials management and ensure timely claims/appeals per company procedures.
Meet or exceed productivity standards; ensure services meet quality standards of practice.
Implement new treatment programs and monitor outcomes, adjusting plans of care as needed.
Follow established facility and company policies and procedures.
Approve timecards and provide evaluation input on department employees; build relationships with local hospitals and referral sites.
Attend facility and company meetings as approved; conduct staff in-services on safe work practices.
Organize rehabilitation orientation for new staff and ensure proper paperwork is completed.
Complete billing documentation accurately and timely per company standards.
Provide recommendations to supervisor for opportunities to improve services; identify development needs and potential leaders.
Must be able to travel as necessary and maintain confidentiality of patient and company information.
Identify potential leaders and new sources of business; promote a positive attitude among staff and in the community.
Supervisory Requirements
Supervises PT/OT/SP therapists, assistants, aides and students.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Speech Language Pathology. Prefer graduates of Master's or Doctorate programs in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Speech Language Pathology. Or Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or Physical Therapist Assistant.
Proficient in computer skills such as Net Health and Point Click Care.
