Additional administrative nursing team includes a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing, a full-time Clinical Care Coordinator, a full-time MDS Coordinator and a part-time Infection Preventionist.
Position Responsibilities
Lead the nursing team to ensure that our residents are receiving the highest quality of care.
Responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day nursing care of the residents in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
Oversee nursing processes, such as assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Provide support and advocacy for residents, their families and staff.
Assist in family relations, addressing questions and concerns regarding their resident's health and nursing care.
Identify risk management needs and initiate root-cause analysis.
Interview, hire, orientate and schedule nurses.
Assume responsibility of the facility's operation in the absence of the Administrator.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator
Schedule
Weekdays: Either 5 8-hour days or 4 10-hour days
Must be accessible on nights and weekends when concerns arise

Current RN License in Illinois
