Overview

As an Account Director, you will lead the strategic growth and relationship management of one of our largest Oil & Gas accounts. You will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding service offerings, and positioning the company as a trusted innovation partner in the energy sector. This role demands deep industry expertise, strong executive engagement, and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership: Own the total responsibility for the account, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. Develop and execute a multi-year account strategy aligned with the client’s transformation goals. Build and maintain C-suite relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on technology, engineering, and sustainability initiatives. Business Development & Growth: Identify and pursue new opportunities across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments. Drive cross-selling and up-selling of the company’s digital engineering, plant engineering, and sustainability solutions. Lead large deal pursuits, RFP responses, and contract negotiations. Customer Engagement & Delivery Oversight: Ensure delivery excellence by collaborating with internal delivery teams and client stakeholders. Monitor project health, proactively resolve issues, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met. Champion innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the account. Industry & Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of Oil & Gas industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, digital twins, carbon capture). Leverage insights to shape the company’s offerings and client conversations. Governance & Reporting: Conduct regular governance meetings with client leadership. Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline updates, and executive reporting to leadership. Required Qualifications

15+ years of experience in account management or business development in the Oil & Gas sector. Proven track record of managing large strategic accounts ($10M+ revenue). Strong understanding of engineering services, digital transformation, and energy transition. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business; MBA preferred. Preferred Skills

Experience working with global energy majors. Familiarity with technologies like IoT, AI/ML, cloud platforms, and asset performance management. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority. Company Roles & Employment Details
