Robert Louis Stevenson Museum and Library — California — Full Time The Robert Louis Stevenson Museum seeks a visionary Executive Director to reimagine and elevate the Museum’s role locally and beyond. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will serve as chief ambassador, strategist, and fundraiser—driving public relations, community partnerships, and philanthropic support. You will oversee all operations, finance, exhibitions, collections care, education, and visitor experience with excellence and creativity. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven record in fundraising, nonprofit management, and museum best practices. A passion for literature, cultural preservation, and local heritage—especially Stevenson’s legacy—is essential. Responsibilities

Compensation: $68,640–$75,000 salary; includes 3 weeks paid vacation and 1 week paid sick leave.
