Overview The role will play a critical part in driving Orlando Pride’s revenue growth through the acquisition of new commercial partners. The individual will identify and cultivate high-value prospects and develop innovative partnership solutions that align brand objectives with Orlando Pride’s mission and impact platform. The role requires relationship-building, strategic storytelling, and a strong grasp of the value proposition for women’s sports.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Prospect and close new corporate sponsorships/partnerships for Orlando Pride.

Establish strong working relationships with local, regional, and national companies to understand marketing and business goals.

Accountable for achieving KPI’s and revenue goals on a yearly basis.

Identify key open categories, emerging trends and companies specific to women’s sports as prospective new business leads.

Generate qualified leads by self-prospecting via research, outbound calls, meetings, events, and social selling.

Develop unique and customized proposals and sales presentations for new business prospects.

Negotiate and collaborate with the Sr. Director of Business Development, SVP of Brand Alliances, and Director of Legal through contract execution.

Maintain and update the sales pipeline in the CRM to support accurate forecasting for sales and renewals.

Work with Brand Alliance Marketing to ensure proper fulfillment of partnership contracts.

Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, Creative, Merchandise, Public Relations, and Ticket Sales to create new assets that drive revenue and are mutually beneficial to the partner and the club.

Support activations on game days, weekends, and events as assigned, and engage current and prospective partners.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

5+ years of demonstrated success in revenue generation and sponsorship/partnership development.

Proven track record of high-level B2B selling and deal construction with local, regional, and national brands.

Strategic storyteller capable of crafting sophisticated deals beyond basic assets.

Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and communicate with internal and external clients, including C-level executives.

Strong sales presentation development and delivery skills.

Data-driven mindset to leverage insights from the BI team for prospecting and selling.

Passion for sales, high energy, and self-motivation.

Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SponsorUnited and Digideck.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ability to attain and maintain SafeSport certification and pass a background check.

Professional verbal and written communications skills.

Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends, holidays, and game days; travel as required.

Experience in the Florida marketplace preferred but not required; Spanish or Portuguese a plus.

About Orlando City SC & Orlando Pride Orlando City SC joined MLS in 2013 and began play in 2015, with a history of postseason appearances and league championships. The Orlando Pride joined the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in 2015, launching professional women’s soccer in Florida. The Pride won the NWSL Championship in 2024, completing a historic season that included the league’s best regular-season record and the NWSL Shield.
