Experienced Consultant

to work with clients as a member of our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice at West Monroe. You will be staffed on a project and be an integral part of our teams that identify, shape and deliver high value transformation programs to respond to the strategic business challenges of our clients. As an Experienced Consultant, you will support clients through complex M&A transactions, from initial strategy and due diligence to integration/separation and post-deal activities including buy-side and sell-side engagements, mergers, integrations, and divestitures. Responsibilities: Work directly with internal project teams and clients to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency across business and technical functions Contribute to fast-paced technology due diligence engagements for Private Equity clients, with an ability to evaluate the technology systems and operations of a business and identify compliance, operations, revenue, and growth risks Participate in client workshops focused on future state of the industry, design future state business process and requirements (e.g., workplan development in SmartSheet) Support detailed requirements gathering specific to Information Technology (e.g., applications, organization, infrastructure, cybersecurity) Develop and analyze financial models to evaluate impact of transactions (e.g., run-rate analysis, one time cost project) Develop client-ready communications that facilitate decision making, communicate status, mitigate risk or resolve issues Participate in the creation of project related deliverables such as project plans, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models Interface with all levels of management both internally and with clients Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in a team-based environment and working directly with external clients/internal stakeholders Ability to effectively create and deliver client facing content utilizing Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Sharepoint, Teams, etc). Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, display excellent judgment, and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities Ability to develop a sense of urgency and respond appropriately Experience working in a collaborative team environment on large initiatives Strong project management and leadership skills to manage and drive concurrent small to large projects for one team A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives Professional experience with Information Technology with ability to learn quickly Professional experience with mergers and/or carveouts across the transaction life cycle (e.g., diligence, post close) is a plus Professional experience or knowledge working in consulting or corporate development is a plus Excellent communication ability with team members and clients in English.
