Overview
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue from the MICE segment. This role focuses on building strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners and industry partners to position Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown as the premier destination for business events, conferences and incentives. Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue from the MICE segment. Identify and establish long-term partnerships with corporate clients, event organizers and key industry stakeholders. Manage key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business. Lead sales negotiations and secure contracts for meetings, conferences and large-scale events. Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing, packages and occupancy. Collaborate with the events and banquet teams to ensure seamless execution of MICE bookings. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends. Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events and industry conferences to generate new business. Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism Management. A minimum of 5 years sales experience in the MICE segment and preferably within an international hotel brand. Strong network and understanding of MICE industry trends, corporate travel and event planning.
