CoreAI Staff Scientist – Applied Deep Learning Keystone’s Core AI team is seeking a Senior Scientist to help drive the development of foundation forecasting capabilities for Keystone’s flagship product in time series forecasting and inventory management. The Core AI team builds advanced AI applications deployed for clients across industries to transform processes, reduce waste, and modernize operations through deep learning–powered automation. You will work with scientists and ML engineers to shape the design and deployment of deep learning models for forecasting, inventory control, and data-driven insights, leveraging frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch to deliver industry-leading solutions that optimize supply chain and operational workflows. This role is based in NYC, NY, with the option for Bellevue, WA. Provide Thought and Invention:

Contribute to the strategy and vision for Keystone’s Core AI team by championing deep learning innovations in time series forecasting, supply chain optimization, and inventory control. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Guide a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and ML engineers in model development, best practices, and impactful project delivery. Develop Advanced Models:

Design and refine deep learning architectures to forecast demand, manage inventories, and extract actionable insights from complex data across industries. Collaborate Cross-Functionally:

Work with product managers, data scientists, economists, research scientists, software engineers, and ML engineers to create scalable end-to-end AI solutions addressing real business needs. Drive Innovation:

Evolve Keystone’s foundation forecasting capabilities by exploring novel techniques to stay on the cutting edge. Champion Operational Excellence:

Ensure models are robust, efficient, and production-ready, accelerating time-to-market for AI-driven applications. Basic Qualifications

PhD in Machine Learning, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Optimization, or equivalent quantitative field. 5–7 years of experience in machine learning and statistical modeling, including exposure to time series forecasting and large-scale data analysis. Hands-on expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) with a track record of deploying deep neural architectures in production. Proven ability to lead and mentor teams of scientists, ML engineers, or related technical roles. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders and executives. Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing deep learning solutions in supply chain contexts, including forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization. Familiarity with building innovative solutions in Generative AI, advanced statistical analysis, and quantitative optimization. Background in enterprise-scale AI systems operating in fast-paced, cross-industry environments. Desire to work in a self-directed, entrepreneurial culture with rapid iteration. Location
