Position Overview The Transaction Data Sr. Manager is responsible for overseeing the evaluation, standardization, governance, and issue resolution processes for critical transactional and configuration data within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) ecosystem. This role ensures the health, accuracy, ownership, and integration of data across key systems such as SAP, Kinaxis, and MES, supporting seamless operations and strategic decision-making. Additionally, this role will define ownership structures for key transactional data objects and establish issue management protocols to ensure missing or incorrect data is promptly identified and resolved. Key Responsibilities: Transactional Data Ownership & Issue Resolution
Establish clear ownership for transactional data objects, defining responsible teams/persons. Develop governance processes for managing data integrity issues. Implement a structured approach for resolving data inconsistencies, such as missing Country of Origin fields in batch master records. Coordinate with functional teams to ensure timely updates and auto-population mechanisms where applicable.
SAP Z-Table Data Evaluation and Governance
Analyze the impact of customized SAP Z-Table data on GSC processes. Identify key tables that affect process health and establish data standards. Develop and implement a Responsibility, Accountability, Consulted, and Informed (RACI) model for data ownership. Define and enforce governance processes to maintain data quality and consistency.
SAP Configuration Data Management
Assess the impact of SAP configuration data on the health of GSC processes. Identify critical configuration data and develop standards for usage and governance. Create a governance framework, including RACI roles, to ensure configuration data integrity.
System Interface and Integration Accuracy
Evaluate the impact of data interfaces between SAP, Kinaxis, MES, and other integrated systems. Identify key transactional data fields critical for accurate system integration. Develop and implement data integration standards, RACI models, and governance processes.
Basic Qualifications: Doctorate and 2+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s and 6+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s and 8+ years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Proven experience with SAP systems, including Z-Table customization and configuration. Knowledge of system integrations, particularly between SAP, Kinaxis, and MES. Strong analytical skills with a focus on data evaluation, governance, and process optimization. Experience in defining data ownership structures and issue management processes. Ability to develop governance frameworks, RACI models, and data integrity protocols. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
