We are looking for a

Senior Regulatory Data Analyst

to join Square. You will focus on building, scaling, and maintaining data solutions that support external regulatory and compliance reporting. You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent delivery of data to regulators, auditors, and external partners. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data, regulation, and business strategy, where your work directly contributes to maintaining trust with regulators and safeguarding Square's ability to operate in financial services. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain BI pipelines, dashboards, and reporting assets that support regulatory and external data reporting. Partner with Product, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Engineering to translate regulatory requirements into clear data deliverables. Ensure data integrity and auditability by establishing robust documentation, validation, and QA processes for all reporting. Respond to ad-hoc regulatory requests and audits, balancing accuracy with speed under tight deadlines. Collaborate with Data Engineering and Infrastructure teams to automate and scale recurring reporting processes, reducing reliance on manual work. Contribute to a centralized reporting dictionary and knowledge base for regulatory deliverables. Monitor changes in regulatory expectations and proactively adapt reporting approaches. Provide insights and context around regulatory data to stakeholders, highlighting risks, anomalies, or trends. Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Engineering Background in financial services, fintech, or regulatory reporting Expertise in SQL and large-scale data sets Proficiency with BI/visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Mode, etc.) Understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data warehouse concepts Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CFPB, FDIC) and experience supporting audits/exams Experience working with Legal, Compliance, or Risk teams Compensation and Location

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on location. U.S. locations are categorized into four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Zone details (illustrative): Zone A: $171,800—$257,600 USD; Zone B: $159,800—$239,600 USD; Zone C: $151,200—$226,800 USD; Zone D: $142,600—$213,800 USD. For more information, contact a recruiter.
