Position Overview Building and Land Technology (BLT) is seeking a highly motivated
Regional Operations Associate
to support our residential portfolio based out of Stamford, CT. This unique role is designed as both an operational support position and a leadership development opportunity. The Regional Operations Associate will work closely with the Vice President of Operations and Regional Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of multifamily communities. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic property management professional to make an immediate impact and build a clear pathway to long-term growth with BLT.
Key Responsibilities of the Regional Operations Associate Portfolio Operations Support
Ensure operational excellence across multiple residential assets, with focus on occupancy, NOI, leasing performance, and resident retention. Support financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly reporting. Contribute to capital planning, property enhancements, and reputation management. Assist with staffing coordination, training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching of site teams. Strategic Execution & Talent Development
Help identify, mentor, and grow future leaders within the residential portfolio. Participate in recruitment and hiring processes. Apply market insights and data to implement operational best practices. Leadership & Culture
Represent and promote BLT’s values, serving as a cultural ambassador across the residential portfolio. Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment across property teams.
Qualifications of the Regional Operations Associate
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5–10 years of onsite multifamily property management experience (Property Manager, General Manager, or similar role) required. Demonstrated success in improving asset performance and leading teams. Strong financial and analytical skills, including budgeting and reporting. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Highly adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-asset environment.
