Radiologic Technologist - Contract

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Radiologic Technologist 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday 8:00a to 4:30p or 8:30a-5:00p May be asked to work one weekend day every few weeks. Perform high quality diagnostic procedures, applying principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient. Maintain knowledge of and observe universal precautions and all other precautions determined by New England Baptist Hospital. Effectively communicate with patients to obtain important clinical information, instruct the patient, relieve anxiety, and gain cooperation during procedures etc. Understand and apply Guest Relations skills and display excellent customer service skills. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills. Function effectively under conditions which are often fast paced and stressful. OR experience C-arm and Portable imaging Digital Imaging EPIC experience Ability to work independently Work with adults and elderly Orthopedic experience

Job Requirements: Preferred 2 years of full time Radiologic Technologist experience Experience with OR Imaging and Diagnostic Imaging Hospital or Surgical Center experience Valid ARRT registration, MA License Equipment Konica Minolta, Philips and Client mobile units
