Healthcare IS is hiring: Dental Assistant in Sacramento County

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join a healthcare organization in Sacramento. In this role, you’ll support dentists and dental staff in delivering high-quality care in a modern, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist chairside during patient procedures
• Take and process digital x-rays
• Maintain sterilization standards and support patient flow
• Document and update records in electronic health systems
• Provide professional, compassionate patient interactions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of California Dental Practice Act + 8-hour Infection Control course
• Current BLS certification
• X-ray certification (radiation safety)
• Completion of a formal Dental Assisting program preferred
