Personal Injury Paralegal

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our team of attorneys in managing all aspects of clients’ cases. Position Overview We are searching for a Personal Injury Paralegal responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to handling cases from intake to settlement, prepare and submit demand packages to insurance companies, organizing and analyzing documents and case work, and drafting pleadings and other court documents. The Paralegal must be extremely organized and meticulous, and able to multitask in order to effectively work in the Firm’s high-speed, client-driven environment. $24 - $30 hourly Responsibilities:

Maintain client files with continual updating and filing copies of documents (electronic/paper files) created within the office or received from outside parties, including but not limited to, employment records, claim file records, medical bills, and a large number of medical records that will also need to be sorted, reviewed, maintained, and updated on a continual basis Draft, research, and edit legal documents, including correspondence and settlement demands Meet with clients in the office for questions, notary services, disbursements, etc. Schedule appointments, court dates, and other case-related events based on attorney and client availability Ability to prioritize while meeting all deadlines and demonstrating a high level of reliability and efficiency Maintain up-to-date knowledge of case law and regulations applicable to personal injury matters Ability to use foresight to effectively plan ahead in an effort to anticipate the needs of supervising attorneys and the team Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in a legal office or law firm setting, preferably in personal injury, medical malpractice, or civil litigation Knowledge of legal concepts and principles sufficient to perform research tasks under the direction and guidance of the attorney Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and other support staff Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Familiarity with case management software and databases is preferred Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards About Company Benefits:
