Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician, SPD to join a dedicated team committed to enhancing patient outcomes through innovative acute care solutions. As a Field Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will involve the installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sterile processing equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Install sterile processing equipment including sterilizers, ultrasonics, washers, and cart washers according to specifications. Inspect, test, and diagnose malfunctioning equipment using appropriate instruments. Repair or replace defective components and electrical parts. Coordinate site readiness with personnel and contractors for equipment installations. Communicate regularly with customers and stakeholders regarding project status and issues. Perform remote diagnostics to resolve equipment issues and escalate when necessary. Maintain factory certification and proficiency on servicing product lines. Drive revenue growth through solutions aligned with the service portfolio. Complete administrative duties including work orders, reports, and documentation. Travel up to 75 percent of the time. 3-5 years of experience working in a sterile processing environment, combined with prior technical work-related experience (Strongly Preferred). 3-5 years of experience installing and/or repairing HVAC systems (Strongly Preferred). Skills
Technical proficiency in hydraulic and AC/DC electrical systems. Ability to interpret schematics and site drawings. Experience in mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting tasks. Understanding and application of pneumatic, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical theory. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexibility in working hours, including availability for mandatory overtime and weekends. Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in fluid dynamics, electronics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is strongly preferred. Additional Requirements
