JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of products, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role ensures accuracy in inventory, compliance with safety standards, and efficiency in warehouse operations while providing support in continuous improvement and process documentation.
Key Responsibilities Perform quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments. Stage and pack outbound orders in accordance with site policies. Execute ERP system transactions for inbound and outbound shipments. Update FMS for parcel and freight shipments. Learn to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems to fulfill orders. Maintain inventory accuracy. Handle and control hazardous materials for both inbound and outbound shipments. Comply with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations. Complete required safety training and follow risk protocols, including use of PPE. Lift up to 75 pounds unassisted. Operate powered industrial trucks (WAV, order picker up to 35’, reach truck, dock stocker, powered pallet jacks). Create repair RMAs and manage shipment/receiving issues within repair systems. Gain familiarity with products, processes, operational metrics, and software tools. Provide input for continuous improvement and work instruction documentation. Resolve basic problems under supervision and perform limited analysis. Evaluate and maintain equipment; create expense orders for internal repair consumption. Service customer products, including troubleshooting, validating complaints, and reviewing repair history. Create work instructions, check sheets, and process documentation. Train associates in basic tasks and share new learnings with the team. May obtain certifications as an emergency responder or in other safety areas. Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and external audits. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required. 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred but not required. Effective communication skills. Basic computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management Systems, and ERP systems. Preferred Qualifications
Prior warehouse or distribution experience. Certification or experience with powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment. Familiarity with safety standards and ISO compliance.
