About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Security DevOps (SecDevOps), CI/CD pipeline engineering, and cloud-native application development and deployment. As a part of a high-performing engineering team you will be responsible for implementing and automating secure software delivery throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring the continuous delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable applications across multi-cloud environments (e.g. Azure, OpenShift).

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Strategy & Execution: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and other modern tools.

Security Integration: Integrate security tools and practices into the CI/CD pipeline, using tools like SonarQube, Black Duck, and Checkmarx, vulnerability scanning and security testing

Containerization & Orchestration: Build and manage containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift; lead platform migrations from PCF to OpenShift.

Monitoring & Observability: Configure and integrate monitoring/logging tools such as AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk to ensure application performance, security and availability.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate across development, operations, security, and architecture teams in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver scalable, secure applications.

Automate database deployments with Liquibase and manage authentication using Kerberos and service accounts

Manage and maintain source code repositories using Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and application deployments

Participate in code reviews and provide guidance on security and DevOps best practices

Stay up-to-date with the latest security and DevOps trends and technologies

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud technologies

4+ years hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness)

4+ years hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift)

Desired Qualifications:

4+ Proven expertise with AWS, Azure, and OpenShift/PCF platforms

3+ year Hands-on with SpringBoot and Microservices Architecture

4+ years Hands-on with container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift)

3+ years strong scripting in Shell, Python, or PowerShell

3+ years' experience with database deployments using Liquibase

3+ years' experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible

Experience in financial services or regulated environments

Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Terraform Associate

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Combination of Tools: Tools: JFrog Artifactory, Check Marx, Black Duck, Jenkins, Github Actions, GIT, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift Container Orchestration, Splunk, Grafana, Jira, ALM, Ansible

Iselin, NJ Pay Range: $120,000 - $158,000 - $196,000
