Responsibilities
- Represent the face of the company to patients who come in for health routine or insights into life?defining health decisions.
- Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
- Have direct contact with patients, create an atmosphere of trust, explain procedures and draw specimens safely and accurately.
- Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors, focus on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
- Under the direction of an area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established procedures.
- Maintain required records and documentation.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Ability to provide quality, error?free work in a fast?paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal on?site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
- Minimum of 6 months experience; 1+ years preferred.
- Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience required.
- Candidates within a 20?25 minute commute window to the site.
- Shift: Monday?Friday 6:00?am3:00?pm, rotating Saturdays 6:30?am11:00?am.
