Monday to Friday 8am to 5pmCompensation: Negotiable based on experience/fair market valueEmployment Type: Full-Time, Direct HireBenefits offered to you:Paid Time Off including holidays and vacationHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance2 Health Plan Options – One with fully reimbursed deductible!Flexible Spending AccountDependent Care Reimbursement Account401(k) with company matchCompany provided group life insurance and AD&DCompany provided short-term disability coverageOptional long-term disability coverageOptional Cancer Insurance and Extended Illness InsuranceEmployee Referral BonusesPurpose & Scope: This role will be responsible for evaluating new and current tools to enhance manufacturability, manage project development from conceptualization through production, and assist with the pricing and quoting of customer projects to ensure competitive yet profitable project deliverables.Essential Duties May Include:Managing custom customer projects and serving as their key point of contactReceiving and processing orders, verifying terms are agreeable with quotes, and ensuring all documents are completedReviewing customer data files and/or blueprints for the purpose of submitting a bid or proposal to potential customers for tooling costs, plastic piece prices, and secondary operationsProducing reliable estimates of costs to manufacture products and verifying the tooling provided by suppliers meets all requirements for efficient productionReviewing and approving all tool designs and design changes.Maintaining appropriate documentation files for all products, tooling, and related informationExpediting orders, following up on behalf of the customer, and apprising the customer of order statusEnsuring complete and accurate filing of customer history folders, pricing data, and related records/reportsPartnering with manufacturing team to verify projects are set-up for production and all tooling is working effectively Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:8+ years of prior experience in custom injection moldingBachelor’s degree or higher in Plastics Engineering or a related disciplineKnowledge of mold building, raw materials, equipment, and molding techniquesPrior use of IQMS, SolidWorks/AutoCAD PI1bb9846440e0-35196-38078401
