Overview

Revenue Analyst SQL & Invoice Reconciliation

In this role, you will analyze revenue streams, ensure accurate invoice reconciliation, and support financial integrity across a portfolio of clients. You will leverage advanced SQL and analytical skills, collaborating with internal teamsand occasionally external partnersto proactively resolve issues impacting billing, payments, and revenue performance. Youll identify billing discrepancies, track missing credits, validate data, and ensure invoice accuracy against contractual and business rule specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build SQL tables from flat files and write clean, efficient queries to analyze large datasets.
• Reconcile and validate invoices and account activity across your assigned client portfolio.
• Monitor transactions, revenues, and data flows to proactively identify discrepancies or leakages.
• Collaborate with IT, Client Operations, Accounting, Account Management, and BI teams.
• Escalate and resolve billing or payment disputes with relevant stakeholders.
• Track and manage account aging, discrepancy resolutions, and reconciliation status.
• Provide insights through data analysis, reporting, and trend monitoring.
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and primary contact for assigned revenue streams.
• Continuously improve processes to maximize cash flow and reduce outstanding debt.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and support ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in revenue analytics, billing, or financial reconciliation.
• Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing complex datasets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skillsable to tailor messaging to various stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
