We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with data visualization, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Perform data validation, ensure accuracy, and maintain data integrity.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and provide timely analysis for business needs.
- Document processes, workflows, and best practices for data analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing datasets.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Solid understanding of Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language for data analysis (Python or R preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).
- Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts.
- Prior experience in technology or product-driven organizations.
- Exposure to statistical modeling or machine learning techniques is a plus.
